Just want to add some point of information for these who are departing from SGN first time. It is my third departure from here (writing this from the airport).

Getting to the airport - please note, unless you are very close to the airport, your travel time from your hotel to the airport might be an hour or more even when you are few miles away. Things got considerably worse trafficwise last several years during rush hour time weekdays. If you need to be at the airport around 5-8PM on weekdays, it easily will take 1 hour to get there from District 1. Plan accordingly.

Check in, passport control and security. If you need to do all three - well, you have to do at least two of these - and especially with LCC, please allow at minimum 1h for all these. Third times here and one hour is the minimum time I managed to get airside. Previous two times it took 1h 30min and and 1h 45min. First time I almost was late to the gate - when arrived at the airport 2h before the departure.
