I was in HK recently and tried to call various AA phone #s from my cell phone and was not successful. I know the phone, dialing codes, etc. worked as I made calls to non-800 #s . I'm guessing that I can't call an 800# from HK. I'll need to call the EXP desk while on my next trip to HK as I'll tip over to EXP on the outbound segment and I'd like to call them and use (or try to use) a SWU for the return portion.

Any pointers on how to get ahold of the EXP desk from HK would be greatly appreciated. Local number, tricks to calling an 800#, etc. I've also heard of people tweeting AA and getting results - any pointers on that would be appreciated as well.
