I definitely understand the stock market timing analogy, so mainly just asking in terms of trying to understand if I need to book spring flights soon or if it's reasonable to wait until January or February. Of course I'm not ever guaranteed to get the best price, but it sounds like it's reasonable to wait until early 2018 to put things on the books.
