yes. I think the aup was botched as I did not get the tier or bonus miles. I had to email em to do it. If it’s a clean one then it automatically gets the new miles and tp

i think that's pretty normal. Out of dozens of AUPs, I can't remember if any credited properly. The ticket isn't reissued with AUP so you normally need to contact them.
This was supposed to have been fixed a few years ago, but it has rarely if ever worked for me.
