If I have 2 bags as carry on, one standard US size carry on and a backpack - can I bring these on as carry ons with SAS (SAS plus ticket) or will i need to check the larger carry on when connecting???If I need to check back in AMS, how and where does this occur after getting off UAL flight? First time doing an international connection.
ps. UAL and SAS tickets not linked when my company booked them....thanks!

If the backpack fits the 'personal item' size you can bring both on board, it's rarely a problem with SAS if it's a bit oversized. Normally you'd have to go through arrivals and find the check-in desk to check in a bag but you won't have time and it wont be necessary. If they are worried about overhead space they can check it in at the gate.
If it's on two seperate tickets, then it's your own risk if you misconnect, which is quite risky with that connection. It should be fine if your inbound is on time and you are checked in for the SK flight.
