LAS doesn't have a shortage of flights to UA hubs so unless you're doing this MR the weekend before Christmas, I doubt you have much to worry about.
Midweek redeye the week before xmas - It's a combination MR and flight to my xmas destination, but with plenty of time for misconnects. I'm going to make silver by about 90 miles.
A misconnect and then more direct routing would be ideal... my dream would be the first flight cancelled (late inbound or mx) early enough that I can get moved to the routing I'd normally take: full transcon and then back to midwest, for maximum sleep. That's just a dream though. Given that it's two of the airports with the best weather in the world, it will probably go off ok.
