I don't disagree. I love Japan and Tokyo in particular. It's great if you have money.... but if you're one of the schmucks living in the countryside with a lifestyle rapidly descending to levels on par with Vietnam, or a salary man with a two hour round trip commute from Saitama to a boring no-future job in Tokyo, or a young person with no prospect of ever earning enough money to raise a family.....probably NOT so great. I'm pretty sure the patricians in Rome thought the Empire was working better than any other country .... at least until.. ..the Goths arrived.
