The Connoisseurs Japanese Washoku by the renowned bistro Chiso Sottaku of Ginza


The November selections


Although the Chardonnay was good, having seafood for main course, I'd prefer Sauvignon/Chenin blanc or Pinot gris/grigio.


I'll remember to remove/rearrange the clutter before taking a shot of the whole meal tray the next time.


Kuchidori (sort of amuse-bouche) - please see menu above for the assorted delicacies


Shusai (main course) - grilled salmon with potato paste and vegetables, sticky rice with mushrooms

Wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) - buttered bun stuffed with egg and white bean paste (I should've shot the bun naked sans wrapping, of course, by the time I thought of it, half of it was already in my mouth. ), and coffee
