SQ awards are available online once again, so you may not get the same flexibility with them that previously existed.
I use EF for two main things — understanding the fare and routing rules and finding alternative flights in IRROPS/VDB situations. I will also use availability alerts, albeit irregularly.
If your goal is to look for I or R space, EF isn’t the right tool.
