Seems a little tight, IMO, but it kinda depends on which gates (as long as you don't have to take the shuttle?).
DCA to ALB is a CR7, the DFW flight is a 738.
This is for 2/20/18 travel, and this is what the computer (AA) put together after shoving back the HNL to DFW departure by like 30 minutes.
(I searched for: mct legal connection dca) and didn't see any threads for DCA.
Legal, not desirable since you don't know if you have to change piers. There is a 47 minute connection at CLT, and a 99 minute connection at PHL (albeit to a CR4) as options leaving the same time from DFW.
