I just downloaded mine to the phone once checked in at the first wing.
While waiting in the lounge I was having a look on EC online and I can’t seem to change my password. Gives a system error each time I try.
So I called them up and got told I have to wait 24 hours for “recent suspicious activity” to subside.
Apparently my user/pass combo was found inside a data dump (like haveibeenpawned.com I guess) and so they locked the account as a precaution and have been locked out of “edits” since the discovery.
I’m impressed someone in EC thought this through and that they’re actually doing some pro active security. Also explains why I haven’t been able to book any redemptions online lately as well only over the phone.
