Having seen some of them 'in action' in the past, I would hazard a guess they almost certainly did. But the chances of it being fixed in 1 day are slim, as (likely) is them getting an internal reply, so instead they asked you humourously to report back. I'd have no complaints with that response... YMMV of course.
