Given that schedule, I think I'll go for the JFK-LAX-OAK on the return.. no need to make any extra connections after that hellish outbound trip. On the upside, it should generate a lot of miles and I hope that a Wednesday night redeye from SAN will put me in good shape for an upgrade... we'll see.

Don't forget the Go Fare City triple miles for the SAN-PHL segment!!! Don't throw away the opportunity for a FREE 4400 +/- miles.
