MSP to anywhere in Canada use regional jets and it shows First class on the ticket and not Delta One. Agents are generally a poor source of info on many details of the FF program, lounge access, Medallion benefits, etc. Their main purpose is for handling reservations, SDC, applying/waitlisting upgrade certs, etc. If you can't figure out a benefit on your own on delta.com, it's always best to simply seek out an answer on Flyertalk.
