(In France, not LAS), but as I was checking out of a hotel at 6am on Sunday morning, a couple wandered in through the front door and asked for a room. The receptionist took it all in his stride, having greeted me one minute earlier with "Bonjour", immediately afterwards he greeted them with "Bonsoir"
