Not Charged for Rental
Has anyone ever not been charged at all for their rental? Last week before I got off the plane I upgraded using the app, I picked up my keys at the rental counter like normal, and I saw the temporary charge on my card like normal as well. When I dropped it off though, they told me there was some issue with their system so they couldn't give me a receipt right away.
Now it's 5 days later, the temporary charge on my credit card dropped off, but they never actually charged me anything. I even called their customer service number and after explaining everything and spending a few minutes on hold the only answer I got was "we also think it's strange that you weren't charged." If they're just going to give me the rental for free that's fine, but I don't want to get a surprise bill in 6 months when I can't claim it for reimbursement.
