As I think it is:
Statement closed 11/15: Due 12/12. This won't change if you ask for a billing date change.
After 12/5, request a change to due date of the 2nd of the month.
The statement that would have closed 12/15 will now close on 1/5 and be due 2/2. It is a nice one-time break, and I've experienced it.
