I've never done anything like this. What do you do, you just call the normal call centre and tell them "please waive my fees"? Or you pretend to cancel the card and wait if they make an offer? Or you call a specific department at AMEX?
I've put a - what I believe - is a significant amount of money on the card, and I realise that the 570 EUR that they charge me is quite a steep price.
