I agree with the advice to consider how much you value LT points accumulation-- and don't forget the 1 EQN per $3k spend, too! In the past these affected my calculus but not anymore. I have just over 2.0MM LT nights now and plan to pass 750 LT nights in 2 months without any further CC EQN bonus. Thus I am using my SPG Amex card for everyday spend as well as MR stays and leaving my Chase MR Visa in the drawer.
