I actually hoped it was an announcement that I wouldn't have to wait so darned long for my bags at PDX. They ought to put a Starbucks by the UA baggage carousel.
Yes! and Yes! Why can't UA provide reliable expedited baggage delivery (to the carousel, that is) for 1Ks the way other carriers do for premium flyers?
Or at least change the system so that 1Ks who (perhaps because they've gotten a seat from the waitlist) have to check their carry ons can get those bags back on the jetway instead of on the carousel.
