We have only checked bags three times in the last 4 years. Once we checked ski gear, once we checked a birthday gift for Rudi, and once ............... well let's just say that Hunki talked me into it. The good news is that the end of that story is that UA bought me a new weekend wardrobe.

We have had serious baggage problems exactly twice out of three checks in the last 4 years.

We hate checking bags and are actually quite comfortable travelling up to two weeks, including business wear, formal wear and play wear, without checking bags as long as we don't have to carry sports gear or large presents.
