Not really in a lot of cases. AS's chart is using AA's old mileage values from before their last devaluation until January 1. AS one way awards also include a stopover that AA awards do not.

I'm pretty sure I didn't want to pay twice as many AA miles to go HKG-LAX-SEA(stop)-DCA in AA and AS F instead of using AS miles, but maybe you do?
