Have been tracking a one way flight from AER-IST for a parity of two for a number of months.

Flight information:
- Travel date: June 27
- Flight Number: TK296
- Direct flight
- Depart 04:00
- Arrive 06:00

I have found direct TK flights to be priced quite a bit higher than through other options momondo searches have provided and have have assumed that they are allowing others to sell at a discount (340 CAD pp) over the current inflated TK price (551 CAD pp).

Using googleflights I have found that historic prices are around 239 CAD pp (i.e. May 9, 2018). With the World Cup going on I do expect demand to be higher in June 2018.

So now to my question, with ~7 months between now and my flight date, is it fair to assume that TK direct prices will drop to be more inline with, or lower than current 340 CAD pp rates?

My current strategy is to wait until TK flights (booking direct with TK) drop closer to 239 CAD pp. I have a connecting flight in IST which takes off at 08:50 on the same day (27th).
