That's... interesting... I've stayed at the HWR a couple times and it's a fine property with good views, but it always felt very bland/chain-hotel-y and like it was just barely hanging on to the Hilton brand (honestly a bit surprised it hadn't been forced to go the DT route). I thought Tapestry was intended for upscale independent hotels with unique charms -- and this property doesn't really fit that bill (Though, admittedly, after the renovations are complete who knows... and also I'm still not really clear on what differentiates a Curio from a Tapestry...but I have enjoyed my Curio stays)
