I never order room service. From the one or two times I have done so in the pat I can say that the food is usually cold, there is often no comfortable place to eat (table & chair) and the selection is usually poor and overpriced.

My general rule is that other than breakfast I must leave the hotel for food. This helps me to see and eat at interesting places.
