SAN-PHL (redeye)
PHL-LGA

Given that schedule, I think I'll go for the JFK-LAX-OAK on the return.. no need to make any extra connections after that hellish outbound trip. On the upside, it should generate a lot of miles and I hope that a Wednesday night redeye from SAN will put me in good shape for an upgrade... we'll see.

If this is truly a mileage run and you have the time, I say go ahead and book the extra connections. It'll amount in extra miles and a couple extra segments. E+ is nice, but F is a lot nicer.
