I'm confused - everyone does this. When NZ flies out of LAX/SFO/IAH, the fruit juice provided is Minute Maid rather than the AU/NZ Charlie's or Just Juice, the cans of drink are Coca-Cola Company provided rather than Coca-Cola Amatil provided, and the water is Dasani rather than Frantelle or Waiwera. The airline is not going to trek the catering over from their home base just so they have the brands of water, food and drink you like - that would be prohibitively expensive. No matter who caters it, you're going to find they use local products.
