Didn't have to wait for one. I went to check out of the hotel at midnight. I asked the front desk about a taxi. The person at the desk asked where I was going and radioed out to the doormen who was helping other guests out of a taxi. Driver knew where I was going before I even got to the taxi and didn't have to say anything.
Holiday Inn about 1km east of Dongzhimen station to Airport T3. Meter said ￥88 and the ￥10 airport road toll.

Would there have been another ￥2 toll somewhere (expressway?) or a case of "no coins"?
