This is fantastic! I’m Gold right now but that won’t last much longer. However, I almost always (>90%) pay for the upgrade at OLCI. It would be great to have an extra perk.
As for getting a free upgrade? Only just the ones that were a defined benefit — Plus seats on Q400s for Gold. The only time I could use the voucher, before it expired, the gate agents didn’t show up at the gate until boarding was beginning, and they went right into it.
