Business class would be two free bags, 3rd bag would be $200.

You could SHIP a couple of suitcases from Seattle to a hotel in Chicago and overnight there. Lots of baggage shipping companies. Then pile them on to the LOT flight out of Chicago.

If you didn't mind taking the shuttle from MDW to ORD you could take Southwest from Seattle to Chicago - first two bags are free and extra bags are $75.

In the 90's I moved to Australia from the states and MAILED everything over there - cost about $600 and took 6 weeks. But they don't ship large boxes anymore. A shame.
