I might be here again next week. I’m shifting more stays from sheraton to JW when using points as JW so cheap value wisecompated to Sheraton. I still prefer SH location but the lounge is he worst one in asia.

The JW One is nice. Although I don’t like the fact they don’t allow kids in after 6 even though they serve alcohol earlier. Lounge has excellent excellent food both at night and breakfast. A little cramped at times and hard to get a seat but a real jewel.

But the property is getting old and showing age. Only one power outlet near bed. One has to unplug their bose system and plug in your stuff. Compared to Conrad next door it really is subpar hardware wise. I view it as a nice Sheraton or Westin. And it is virtually impossible to get a taxi at times.
Agree on all what you said. The bathtub in the corn room of 2 double beds we stayed in Sept really needs to be replaced. (the surface is all scratched up and completely dull.)

But would like to add, the food quality at JWM lounge is much much better than what is offered at Conrad. I mean, mini pizza and little burger as evening hot items? and are on most nights of the week? That is the standard fares at Conrad. enough said.
I would trade the outdated hardware for the much better foods at the lounge.

The issue of getting a taxi is due to the set up of the road. Next time walk over to Conrad or Shangri-La for the taxi.
