My wife and I are flying JFK-ICN-TPE on her birthday in F. I just called to see if they can do a birthday cake for her and was told that this is only possible for flights departing ICN. The agent kept insisting to do the cake on ICN-TPE when it would be THE DAY AFTER HER BIRTHDAY.

This is done on Cathay, Emirates and Singapore... and countless other premium airlines. Swiss even will surprise a loved one with extra chocolates for an added charge. But why don’t Korean get their act together and figure this out??

Is this in fact true? Can anyone suggest a workaround to order a cake or anything special at Terminal 1 at JFK? We are flying with our baby so bringing this on board is an extra burden, not to mention its not a surprise.
