However I realised my statement was cut-off late last week and went to check my "SCB Asia Miles Card - Selected Spending" posting <-- this covers everything I'm earning $4/AM for (online, dining and overseas). Both the top-up and the Circle K purchase were included in the $4/AM Selected Spending credit.
