Expedia family booking portal & Priceline q
I am looking at flight/hotel packages on the 4 Expedia sites. Is it normal that they not only have differing prices, but they also have different flights? For example, on my return flight, a couple of the portals have a one stop Lufthansa flight from Rome to Denver with a short Munich layover, whereas this flight doesn't even appear on the other 2 portals. Why would a flight be available in 2 of the portals but not available in the other 2 portals?
Second question is about flight/hotel packages on Priceline and its family. My flight dates are 2 weeks apart, but I only need a hotel for the first 5 nights, since we will then be taking a cruise. But I have been unable to figure out how to do a search, since the Priceline portals don't seem to have a 'need hotel for only part of the trip' option. Nor can I specify that I am looking for premium economy. Both are easily done on the Expedia family so it would be strange that the Priceline family doesn't have that capability, no? User error on my part?
