Can anyone provide information on the reason for the delay of LX 18 3 November 2017? Mrs. TheCount2 arrived in Rome over 5 hours late due to the late departure of LX 19 from EWR to ZRH, thereby missing a connection on to FCO.

Swiss' initial response, unsupported by evidence, is that there was an unavoidable delay in the departure of the inbound LX 18 (which subsequently flew LX 19) from ZRH due to special conditions there. While I do know that this does not excuse Swiss from paying compensation I would like to know the facts.
