You won't have an issue, they run regularly, til late and are timed with flights.

It's $1 before midnight and $2 each way after. Dollars are accepted everywhere, even the more remote islands, and exchange rates are decent. Except for the fact that Maldivian banknotes are beautiful, absolutely no need to get Rufiyaa.
