And then the SD came over and said she knows the fix. Apparently if you press the AC roundel on the seat adjustment screen, hold the roundel and enter code 3,2,1 followed by pressing the reset lumbar support, the seat re-inflates. He had to do it once more during flight as the seat deflated a bit over time. Not sure if the SD reset anything in the galley first. Wish I knew this on the outbound. There were two J seats with the hard seat issue and both were resolved using the same method above.
Just wanted to thank you for this post.
My mattress deflated twice on the 777 and I was able to reset it without getting the SD and waiting half hour for them to figure out how.
