Do you every have any Do's/Meetups in town in Helsinki?

I'll have a long layover on Thursday 11 January. Arrive 0850 from JFK and leave 2355 for SIN. I'm planning to go into town. It will be my first time in Finland.

Would anyone want to get together for dinner and/or drinks before I head back to HEL for my flight to SIN?

Also--if anyone has recommendations on a decent tour of town, I'd appreciate it. I've done a little research, but I know it will be cold...so would like to keep my time outdoors and walking to a minimum.
