There is a bulkhead at row 40 so no additional legroom really.
See this video @ 3:12 and 19:13 for row 40 space and legroom although 40C does offer putting your legs out at an angle as the bulkhead stops a little short parallel with the seat. Therefore this allows you to stretch out at a very slight angle although your feet would be in the aisle just a little.
