Air travel with my "Granny Trolley"

I have a trip coming up which involves Eurostar then train to Antwerp, a stay in Antwerp, train to Amsterdam and then a BA flight AMS-LCY.

Since being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis I have become very attached to my trolley bag, (which my nieces call my "Granny Trolley") which I use most days. It is so much easier for me to manage than a suitcase and I think it would make the Eurostar and train portions of the trip much more comfortable.

I have never considered how one might navigate air travel with such an item. It folds up like a pushchair so in principle it should be possible to check it in? I will be in CE so have two bags as allowance - could it possibly count as one bag? Although it is a mobility aid I don't need it if I am not carrying too much, so I wouldn't need it once my bag has been checked in.

Has anyone ever tried to check in an item like this?
