We must be talking about two different things.
Normally when I see a fare I'm interested in I click the "rules" button (e.g. when using ITA matrix; Expert Flyer offers the information also as do many other sources) and somewhere in all that text the exact prices for cancellations, no-shows, changes, etc are specified.
They may have a couple of levels depending on whether you've started the trip or not, but it's all spelled out and I would not expect the airline to change them for that specific booking code.
About the only thing that would cause a day to day variation would be currency exchange rates. The currency is stated in the rules too, and is generally in a hard currency so variations would be tiny.
The airline may also refund certain taxes and fees if you don't fly. That information may be tucked away in the airline's generic T&Cs that some of us (me) almost never read. (And they may wait for you to claim them, hoping you don't bother.)
