side note: on one of our segments, granny across the aisle knitting with two massive knitting needles. All I could think about was John Wick 2...and how silly it is that those are allowed, but my tiny scissors in my nail/grooming kit got confiscated once (of course, also out of the blue after flying with them for ~ eleventy-hundred segments...).
And that same granny can't carry a circular thread either. However, that same granny could also carry on a 40" long garrote with large metal needles at either end. Just an example as to why TSA is nothing but a show.
