I was hoping to use miles to book an Avianca internal Colombia award in early Jan, but nothing shows direct - only with Copa via Panama.

On the phone they said they might release seats for this in December. To me, that seems awfully close to the date of travel to be releasing seats. Is this accurate information, or should I just book a normal revenue ticket instead?
