This is my oldest one, converted from the US days, no 10k anniversary bonus.

Fee popped up a few days ago and I've put ~$1500 in spend on it in the last 12 months and all of that was for bonus offers, mainly $1k to satisfy last years 5k miles for $1k retention call.

A 5 minute call with a transfer to a specialist, she quickly waived the annual fee and offered the same 5k/$1k offer I got last year. I accepted both. Does anybody pay the annual fee on this card?? The only AF I've ever paid was the first annual fee when I got the card. At this point I keep it mostly because it has a decent CL, helps AAoA, and it's good for a few thousand nearly free AA miles annually.
