This post probably isn't a joke, but @broadwayboy, somewhere on this board there is a back-and-forth that went on way to long involving way too many people about the distance between the LM and this new hotel. While someone thought he could walk the 1km distance in a minute, the consensus was it would take most humans longer, say 10-15 minutes. It is not near the BTS nor MRT.

Walking out of the LM, you would turn left on Surawong, towards Lumpini Park and according to Google Maps the Take-a-Nap hotel (!), to get to the JT store, which IIRC is the first thing you see when a cab turns off of Rama IV Rd. You would turn right on Surawong when you leave the LM and walk 1km to get to the new hotel. They are in opposite directions.
