I am getting myself confused with what I thought was straightforward and appreciate your help before my flights if there is a problem.

I am a citizen of USA and am TWOV. I have a roundtrip ticket ORD-PEK. I have two separate one-way tickets PEK-HKG and HKG-PEK. After landing in PEK from ORD I have about two hours layover and then fly to HKG. Am spending a couple days in HKG then flying back to PEK and have about 15 hours layover before my flight back to ORD. Are there problems with this TWOV itinerary?
