My Dad is Platinum For Life with an insane amount of air-miles. He doesn't use them and said I could. When I try and buy a ticket with a Classic Award using his miles, his contact details are locked in for the passenger details. I just checked the KLM website and it says:

"Only the Member is entitled to apply for an Award. The Member may order an Award either for himself or for any other person designated by the Member at the time the Award is requested, subject to the T&C of the Programme"

Is it actually possible? I checked whether I could transfer his miles to my account but that is limited to 50,000 and would cost me around 1000 euros anyway since it is approx. 3euro per 250miles.
