Using a $10 / month subscription to Expertflyer.com you can get alerts for I on a particular flight (but not IN -- but that space is just for Plat or higher elites).
You may need to consider splitting the group up or looking for 1-stop itins.
Or Everyday / standard awards.
August is peak European vacation time and airline have less availability for awards seats. There may be
fare sales to watch out for.
