I have relatives that have been HGVC owners at NY 57th St. since it was built and love the HGVC experience. They mostly stay (75%) at 57st but do go to other resorts and have minimal issues. Given there experience I recently bought after much research at HCNY and so far have been very happy. I have recently stayed at the Elara in Vegas which was better than I expected and have also stayed at 57ST several times. Is it the cheapest club ...no. But I will say check out some of the resale values at the NY clubs and it is pretty impressive. While I doubt I (or my family) could get what we paid for I am seeing pricing at 1/2 to 2/3 the original purchase price. Some are less but if you just want the points by those in the after market. Just my 2 cents on HGHVC.
