Yes. They did a nice reception the night before and some activities at the gates in both Dfw and ord.

Not sure what "Just sayin’" is supposed to mean , but did AA do anything for its 1st ever 787 flight which is a better comparison against the final ever 747 flight
Also, the final flight ( I would say ) is mot noteworthy than just buying a new aeroplane
